Search the QCAA timetable by subject or paper, then add each assessment to a family planning calendar. QCAA publishes morning and afternoon sessions rather than one universal start time, so confirm the exact reporting time with the school and Student Portal.

QCE 2026 key dates

The 26 October–17 November window is for General and General (Extension) external assessments. Do not use it as the date range for every SEE component; use the separate QCAA SEE timetable linked below.

A 12/8/4/1-week family revision plan

The parent's role is to help make the plan visible, protect the conditions needed to follow it and notice when the student needs their teacher or school—not to become another examiner at home.

Parent and carer checklist

• Compare every subject, paper and session with the student's QCAA Student Portal timetable and the school's reporting instructions.
• Confirm the school's prescribed English or Literature text and Ancient or Modern History topic in the QCAA Student Portal.
• Check the venue, reporting time, approved equipment and calculator requirements for every assessment.
• If two assessments clash within a morning or afternoon session, follow the school's QCAA-approved alternative-session arrangements on the same day.
• Confirm approved access arrangements and reasonable adjustments (AARA) with the school before the assessment period.
• For illness or an unexpected absence, contact the school immediately and follow current QCAA illness and misadventure procedures.
• Keep QCAA Student Portal and QTAC login details separate and ready before results and ATAR release days.
